This October I will be teaching a five day basic scissormaking class at Makers Forge Studio in Bristol, Tennessee. The course will cover the basics of European-style scissor making. We will be using blanks of a modified Sheffield pattern, and use the minimum of specialist equipment and tools. Practical work is supplemented by classroom talks, and the goal is that students will leave with a finished working pair of scissors, and the design tools to make more in future!

where are you based? I won’t be doing any USA based classes this year but I have a couple of classes planned for Canada later in the year and a London/essex class as well.
