Blue bias cut skirt with a corseted waistcoat. The outfit was entirely British made with total traced provenance – not only were the garments constructed in the UK but the fabric was one of the first pieces of cloth produced by London Cloth on an antique tweed loom bought from a Welsh tweed mill. The yarn was spun in Scotland from local wool. The lining was repurposed vintage fabric. The waistcoat includes the corset as a hidden structural element.
